Family-owned and Oakland-based. Licensed CSLB #1054501 (active since 2019), working on every remodel ourselves — no wholesale-to-a-sub model.
Alameda is unlike any other city in the East Bay. Situated on its own island in San Francisco Bay, it has one of the richest collections of Victorian, Queen Anne, and Craftsman homes in California. Ornate pre-1900s Queen Annes line the Gold Coast. Tree-lined streets in the West End and Fernside carry block after block of Craftsman bungalows. Fernside has mid-century ranches. Bay Farm Island is newer construction. Each style has its own quirks — original moldings, period tile patterns, small-footprint Victorian baths, century-old subfloors, sometimes knob-and-tube in a stud bay we open for a bathroom remodel. We respect the story the house tells while bringing function up to modern standards.
